After studying and working in several professions, such as actress, advertiser, event coordinator, photographer, voice-over artist, and more, I became a painter. I began with private lessons in academic-style oil painting. Enthusiastic about the act of painting, I went on to complete additional academic training in drawing, oil painting, and printmaking, recognized in Brazil. Later, I pursued a postgraduate degree in "Art History" to better understand the nuances of contemporary art, as well as a master’s degree in "Visual Poetics" at the University of São Paulo, where I researched and created “Paradises” through contemporary acrylic paintings, spaces where we can all inhabit together. I also painted playful portraits of people with their animals.
I have exhibited my work in many different places, including the Museum of Contemporary Art of São Paulo, the Museum of Contemporary Art of Salvador, various galleries, and collective exhibitions in other countries.
My artistic production has no limits—creativity is endless, and from time to time I discover new themes that inspire me: still lifes, tiles, primitive art, abstracts, animals, portraits... My surroundings fuel me. I am fascinated by the pictorial texture and the infinite pursuit of building color palettes.
Living in Paris, traveling through countries such as Denmark, Cuba, Germany, Australia, Japan, Spain, and now living in Portugal, has brought me new landscapes and themes.
What remains constant in my work is the use of color and the creation—most often—of figurative paintings designed to bring joy through the gaze. Please feel free to explore, choose, and reach out to me. A work of art always longs to leave solitude and find a new home. My pieces are spread across collections worldwide. I maintain two studios: one in São Paulo and another in the Algarve, Portugal. All sales are made directly with me, with no intermediaries, and I ship worldwide.
As Picasso once said: I paint every day, because when inspiration comes, it will find me working.
